What kind of work do Austrians even do for think tanks? Just prax all day long, or what?
Obviously if all you do is use words to build your theories, then you're going to be a talented writer, but golly I'd be scared for my future if I wasted 5 years focusing on Austrian economics. Same with Marxism--while influential in historiography, I don't see the point in focusing on Marxian economics, when it basically makes you unable to communicate with mainstream people without having a breakdown over trying to define "socially necessary labor time"
