In ULRM b-school, 3rd year AP. Most of the management bros and broette are cool, except one pain the ass 2nd year AP.
She came into my office to ask that I find a way for her pet undergrad RA to "form study groups" and make friends. She feels her special snowflake is melting under the intense pressure of intermediate micro, and his other classmates are hostile to him. This, she felt, was something I should straighten out. She is worried his important RA work will suffer while struggling in this course. I counted six times the phrase "now I don't want to tell y'all how to manage your class but..." The phrase "bless your heart" was uttered twice (for those not in the South, that means "f**k you" in passive aggressive). I smiled, told her I would look into it, and politely asked she leave when a student came in about a question.
I leave any retaliation up to the board. I welcome any and all suggestions from the bros and broettes but please note that I already know where her mug is in the faculty lounge.
