Think about 50 years in the future. Is there any way that society will view what goes on today in college admissions to have been fair and just? Any possible way?
I mean, anti-semitism was endemic to elite education in this country for many years. Samuelson was denied a job at Harvard because of it and Arrow had to go to CUNY. We look back on that stuff now and think it was utterly insane.
I just don't see how people in the future will possibly view what happens to Asian Americans nowadays differently.
